Morning all,
I'm writing with details of an event that might interest you:
Exchanges at the Frontier with Jeremy Farrar
Thursday 22 November 2012, 19.30-21.00
Exchanges at the Frontier returns to Wellcome Collection this autumn for a fourth series in partnership with the BBC World Service, hosting some of the biggest names in world science.
On Thursday 22 November Professor Jeremy Farrar, leading expert on avian flu, will be in conversation with philosopher AC Grayling about his life and work. Professor Farrar heads up the Wellcome Trust's Major Overseas Programme in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and is at the forefront of research into emerging infectious disease in South East Asia.
An edited recording of this event will be broadcast in early 2013 on the BBC World Service to a global audience of 40 million people.
Tickets are FREE and can be booked by visiting http://www.wellcomecollection.org/whats-on/events/exchanges-at-the-frontier-101.aspx
I do hope that you can attend, and I look forward to seeing you there.
