Hi Laura,
This is coming up in Swansea and not too far away for you:

`To Kill a Machine'
This is a play on the life of Alan Turing to be held in
Cafe West, Fulton House (Building 17 on the Swansea University Campus
Map) at 7:30pm on 5th December.
The play is part of a Public Engagement Afternoon
http://www.cs.swan.ac.uk/turing2012/afternoon.php
related to Alan Turing Centeneray @ Swansea University,

and funded by the College of Science http://www.swansea.ac.uk/science/

Scriptography Productions presents a new full-length play by Catrin
Fflur Huws about the wartime code-breaker Alan Turing, whose pioneering
work considered whether a machine could think.
If a machine can think, what then is the difference between a human and
a machine? And if a human is prevented from thinking, does he then
become a machine?
At the heart of the play is a powerful love story which questions the
meaning of humanity, and the importance of freedom. The play
commemorates the centenary of Alan Turing's birth and considers how
these questions are played out in relation to his own life and death

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Sci-drama Projects
Dear list members,
I am trying to find some examples of science-based theatre projects that
I can attend. This is for part of my MSc in Science Communication. I
need to actually go and see them, so schools-based projects are not
appropriate I'm afraid.
I am based in Bristol, so ideally something local would be great, but I
can travel within reason.
Does anyone know of any such projects that are *currently* touring?
Many thanks,
Laura Walker
