Hi,
as far as I remember, the gLite UI was a yum package group, so maybe you'll be able to use yum groupremove glite-WN. Its probably better to remove *globus* *glite* *lcg* *voms*, though. The rest should go due to the unfulfilled dependencies then. A problem could be untracked files, e.g. generated through yaim (links, scripts, config files, etc.).
Thats why we also completely reinstalled the nodes.
