Hi all
Thanks very much for everyone's suggestions.
It must indeed be Climenson - the Ballyholme Stores bill was sent to
Spalding, and I have now found a 'Spencer R. Climenson' in Spalding on
the 1911 Census, age 40, occupation 'private means'. Obviously his
'means' weren't sufficient to pay his bills promptly in 1910, as I have
discovered a number of bills sent to him then, reminding him to settle
his accounts. They make for interesting reading, some of the poor
shopkeepers were clearly becoming exasperated!

I'd go for Climenson, too. If you Google it in association with Bangor
and Ballyholme, several individuals of that name pop up.
All the best,
Kathryn.

Oh, an interesting one for a Friday afternoon! My attempt is Climenson.
(I
did google it to see if it is a real name.)
Good luck.
