Dear all

The organisers of the International Year of Statistics 2013,
http://statistics2013.org/ , are looking for some young statisticians
who would be willing to blog during 2013 on topics related to the
International Year of Statistics.  They are looking for people who
would be willing to write for the blog that will be set up on the
website, but also for people who have their own blog sites and would
be willing to write occasionally about statistical matters and allow
the organisers to link to your site.

Obviously, almost everything statistical could fit under the
International Year of Statistics umbrella, people could write about
what they want to in that regard.  But they are especially looking for
people to write about their careers, what it is like to be a
statistician, why it is cool, and why other young people should
consider Statistics as a career.

Getting involved with this would be a good way to raise your profile
as a statistician. If you are potentially interested please let me
know by emailing [log in to unmask] I will pass on your
details to the organisers.
