Dear Colleagues
Some time ago I promised I would update the list on the disc we recorded for the European Federation of Therapeutic Communities (EFTC). So here goes...
We had the formal launch of the disc on 1st June 2012 at Phoenix House Glasgow. It was a terrific day and we used the residents from the house to sing the chorus - which they did with huge gusto! The whole event was a real success and Glasgow City Council subsequently asked us to reprise the event for their GRAND (Getting Real About Alcohol 'N' Drugs) Week launch last month at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall. That outing was filmed by Joe Cameron and Alex Bell (thanks guys) and the results are available to view on You-Tube:

In between, we've been selling a lot of discs both at recovery events and online. The first pressing was 200 and we've now only got a handful left. Pretty soon we'll need to decide whether to order a second pressing! Amazing! thought we were chancing our arm ordering 200!!!
Anyone wanting to buy the last few discs can do so online at - http://roryyates.bandcamp.com/ - where you'll get a free download with every disc you order. But hurry! As I said we're running out fast.
So that's the news on the disc. We've made some money of course but the main aim was to raise the profile of recovery and the work of TCs and I think the whole project has done that pretty well. Thanks again to the organisations that supported us and the various musicians who gave their time to either record the disc or perform at the shows.
