Hi Sarah,
that's because your file doesn't have any standard wavelength information.
There are various ESO specific values in the primary header that may be
related to this, but I'm afraid I don't know enough about that to anything
more than speculate. It that's true you would need to get the ESO software
to export the data in a standard format.
