The Bank of England is seeking to recruit an Electronic Document Records Management (EDRM) System Administrator to work as part of a team of 6 EDRM System Administrators/ Records Managers who support the FileSite system for the Central Services and Finance directorates. This team forms part of the larger Archive, Information & Records Team which has overall responsibility for Records Management within the Bank, provides the Head Office Records Centre (HORC) service, Bank Archive and the Information Centre.
The jobholder will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of their business area's documents in the Bank's Document Management System which also includes maintaining users within the system. They will ensure that users comply with their business area guidelines and EDM Policy. They will produce regular and ad-hoc reports/statistics for review by local management as required. They will provide support to their business area's staff, fulfilling the role of 'expert' FileSite user and offer induction training for new joiners. The jobholder will be expected to identify potential improvements to working practices and possible system enhancements.
The jobholder will also responsible for the day-to-day administration of Records Management. They will ensure that they maintain and update the Bank's Records Management System, co-ordinating the closure and review of files on a regular basis. They will provide a search and retrieval service for paper records.
