Responsible Innovation: Challenges and Opportunities for STS
The Inaugural BSA Science and Technology Studies Group meeting

* Are you a UK researcher working in the field of Science and Technology Studies?
* Would you like to more opportunities to explore key issues in STS with other UK scholars?
* Do you have ideas for events and activities to support and stimulate research and teaching in STS in the UK?
If so then please come along to this inaugural meeting of the new British Sociological Association Study Group for STS.
We are delighted to be able to bring together leading scholars with interests in the topical issue of responsible innovation to explore how responsibilities are being invoked and configured in contemporary policy and practice, asking:
* Who is or ought to be responsible for which aspects of research and innovation?
* How might they be expected to exercise these responsibilities?
* And why does it matter?
We will then move on to discuss and plan further activities for the STS Group after lunch.
