There is the Content discussion board that was set up for NHS library resource problems. But not all HDAS users are on either board, so tricky in the short term, but we could start a campaign encouraging folk to join it.
However, I very much like your thinking. We need to come up with a way of influencing the HDAS team to take notice of us as a group, to stop them claiming that each of us is experiencing problems that no one else is having.
Best wishes

Is it worth setting up a HDAS discussion group and encouraging board members/the contact desk to subscribe to that? That way those that need to hear about it will, and those that want to complain won't feel bad about bombarding non-HDAS users!

Dear Derick and Paul
Yes, my urgent patient related search has just been locked by HDAS, I can't sort or save results. So that's 1.5 hours work that I will have to do again in OVID, plus the 10 minutes to email the HDAS Contact desk - again!
Apologies to all of our colleagues who are bored hearing about HDAS, but I contacted one SHALL member to complain about HDAS and was told that as the discussion board complaints had eased off he had assumed that all was fine with HDAS again, not that we were all just so sick and tired of the whole thing and lacking in hope of a resolution, that we had just all given up posting about it.
Best wishes
Sarah

I'm in and using HDAS at the moment, the question is, how many search terms will I manage to put in to the database before I get a time out or ERROR screens? I reckon it will be fine until I start looking at results, then it will die on page 3 of the results and I will quit and use OVID instead.
Still at least I'm singing "Oh happy days" in my head.

Yes, it's the same with us here. I was told the following yesterday by NHS Evidence Technical Support, having contacted "contact us":
"Unfortunately, as we have been unable to replicate the issue on our network, it has been difficult to isolate the cause of the timeouts. Our developers are in the process of testing a possible fix which we hope to deploy as soon as it has passed the testing process. We are working as hard as we can to get it resolved but like I say, it depends upon passing testing, being deployed and then waiting to see if it does actually improve the situation for users getting the problem."

It's a lovely late October evening, the birds are singing above the rumble of traffic: just right for a bit of EMBASE searching.
But HDAS has other ideas - I don't seem able to get beyond the log-in page.
Anyone else having problems? I keep getting tracking or server error pages.
It was working OK an hour and a half ago.
