Environment: effective monitoring and management
Preservation Advisory Centre training day
5 December 2012: British Library, London
This training day helps you understand and set realistic and achievable environmental targets for the materials in your care. It takes a pragmatic approach, draws on recent best practice and standards, and provides solutions to fit the resources available to you. At the end of the day you will be in a strong position to take cost-effective decisions and prioritise actions for maintaining a sustainable environment. The training day is aimed at people with responsibility for the care of library and archive collections. It is led by Jane Henderson, a lecturer at Cardiff University's Department of History and Archaeology with demonstrations of equipment by Chris Michael of Meaco.
Cost: £100 + VAT (including lunch and refreshments).
