Subject: [lis-e-resources] Publisher Price Lists

Dear All,

For those of you that don't receive UKSG eNews (and why don't you!),
this may be of interest...

UKSG and Swets are pleased to announce that the recently relaunched
global publisher price list website is now available to view.

2013 Publisher price lists can be viewed at
www.swets.com/uksg-publisher-pricelists<http://Www.swets.com/uksg-publis
her-pricelists>

In 2011 over 90 publishers' pricing policies were available via the UKSG
website. By relaunching this service we hope to provide a single point
where Librarians can go to check latest prices and publisher licensing
terms.

Publishers are invited to continue to submit their price lists to
[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>. Please
note, this service is voluntary for publishers so may not be a fully
comprehensive source. Price lists can be submitted as PDFs or links to
the relevant pages on your website. Price lists will be available to
view within 48 hours of submitting them.

Debbie Dore, Chief Commercial Officer, Swets said "We are really pleased
to be involved with UKSG in this initiative to support ease of access to
information, currently only available from a range of different sources
giving benefit to Librarians and other UKSG members."

Swets will continue to collect and post publishers' pricing
announcements during the year to allow ease of access to announced
changes to policy and prices.

About UKSG
UKSG is a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee. Our
vision is to use our breadth of knowledge and influence to facilitate an
efficient information chain, a better information experience for
scholars, and a world where all members of the scholarly and
professional information supply chain understand each other.

Our mission is to connect the information community and encourage the
exchange of ideas on scholarly communication. We are the only
organization spanning the wide range of interests and activities across
the scholarly information community of
librarians<http://www.uksg.org/about/librarians>,
publishers<http://www.uksg.org/about/publishers>, intermediaries and
technology vendors<http://www.uksg.org/about/vendors>.

About Swets
Swets is the global market leader in managing professional information.
We develop and deliver innovating services that enable the use of
knowledge to its full extent. From more than twenty offices around the
world we actively serve clients and publishers in over 160 countries.
Our active role in today's complex information marketplace has led
E-Content Magazine to award us regularly in their annual "100 Companies
that Matter Most in the Digital Content Industry". We are the only
information agent to be ISO 9001:2008 certified on a global basis, which
pays testament to our stringent operation and client service procedures.

Please contact
[log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> with any
questions you may have.

Regards

Graham
