Our client is looking to recruit a Candidate who is keen to build upon their commercial Location Planning experience or alternatively a Graduate with a demonstrable interest and experience in Location Planning and Analysis.
 
Job Purpose

* Work on a variety of client projects to develop and implement retail network plans using a variety of datasets. 

* Assist in the setup of client software systems which contain a variety of geo demographic datasets 

* Assist in the development and maintenance of statistical models which predict sales and service for clients 

* Offer location planning expertise and support to our clients. 

Desired Skills & Experience

* Excellent analytical skills. Able to synthesise and analyse a wide variety of data while keeping customer needs top of mind. Recognition that the customer is at the heart of all capital investment decisions 

* Able to present analysis and recommendations in a logical, concise way 

* Core knowledge of GIS, e.g. functionality and systems capabilities 

* Ability to integrate quantitative and qualitative information to support investment decisions. 

* Good planning, organisational and prioritisation skills 

* Ability to communicate with colleagues and work cross-functionally 

* Willing and able to challenge accepted practices and processes 

* Structured approach to work with clear deadline focus 

* Strong technical skills, especially in Excel, Access and, preferably, SQL 

* Highly numerate. 


Desired Qualifications

* Good degree (or equivalent) ideally in Geography, Economics, Town Planning or Maths 

* Clean driving licence
