Hi Aussie members,
Great idea. I am in. I am waiting to hear back about my proposal (which involves improvisational drawing and bringing drawing into the community), but I would love to organise a big draw somewhere. Where I live (Blue Mountains) they have regular music events that happen in caves...always thought it would be good to get people drawing out in some remote location - we could set up a Google Earth connection for OS people to be involved also:) Do you know of anyone who has done a Big Draw in Australia before?
J
PS: Not sure of protocol - what is the etiquette of sending messages to the whole group? Am responding in between a marking fenzy (final assessment time a bit of a nightmare), but will update my sad neglected artist-in-resonance.com site when I grab a snippet of time.

Hi Janet
I think there are a few of us on the list who live in Australia and it would be good maybe to think of some events that we might initiate - maybe we could do something like a connected Big Draw event?

I know what you mean about all the action on the other half of the world, wouldn't it be great if there was more happening here? I am part way through my doctorate and would be happy to start a communication with you if interested.

I wish I was closer to all the goings on in the UK. I feel quite isolated in my part of Australia. I am sure there are fabulous things happening here - please let me know if you are a member in the Sydney area. Thanks for sending this website link Jac. Hoping to get to a DRN conference next year.
