Hi Bryan
I'm not hugely familiar with the concept, but from yours and Marion's description, I would recommend talking to Moorfields Eye Hospital in London - I know they have lead-lines that show the path from the underground station at Old Street to their front door (in the form of a high-contrast raised and tactile line on the pavement). The buses that served Moorfields were also the first to include the system that announces the stops (with a screen and an audio announcement), which is now used on most, if not all TFL buses, and also on the new Victoria Line tube trains. There are lead lines from those bus stations to Moorfields as well.
All the best
Emma
