Cancer Outcomes Conference 2013: Intelligence - the primary driver of cancer outcomes
12th-14th June 2013, Brighton
I take great pleasure in inviting you to attend the Cancer Outcomes Conference 2013 hosted jointly by the National Cancer Intelligence Network and UK Association of Cancer Registries. Improving outcomes for people with cancer is not just about higher survival rates. It is also about improving patients' experience of care and the quality of life for cancer survivors. Now in its sixth year, the Cancer Outcomes Conference attracts all professional groups involved in cancer care continuum to discuss and present the latest updates in cancer diagnosis, treatment, research and supportive care, and explore how cancer intelligence is influencing wider public health, shaping cancer services and ultimately driving forward better patient outcomes.
Confirmed keynote speakers include:
• Professor Sir Mike Richards, NHS Commissioning Board
• Ciarán Devane, Macmillan Cancer Support
• Dr David Forman, International Agency for Research on Cancer
• Harpal Kumar, Cancer Research UK
• Professor Henrik Møller, Kings College London
