Applications are required for this new post established by the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre based at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology. The NIHR BMRC at Moorfields is a world class centre of excellence for ophthalmic research, pioneering world leading gene and stem cell therapies, new drug treatments and novel diagnostic devices for management of visual impairment. Moorfields is the oldest and one of the largest ophthalmic centres in the world with more patients in the UK coming to Moorfields than to any other eye centre because of its world-famous reputation.
Candidates should have, or expect to obtain, a post-graduate degree in medical statistics and experience of analysing, reporting and interpreting clinical trials. The post-holder will be responsible, under the direction of a senior statistician and with support from a senior data manager/analyst, for statistical analysis of clinical trials and other research projects funded by the Trust and for the writing of reports and papers for publication. The post will be based at the City Road site of Moorfields Eye Hospital.
The post is initially funded for 23 months on an Agenda for Change Band 6: £30,634 - £40,406 pa inc
