Kalamazoo, please do, and please submit by Friday (9/15). There's
currently still room in the program and, as always, we welcome with
enthusiasm work from scholars at any stage of their careers--graduate

The International Sidney Society sponsors two open sessions on Philip
Sidney and related topics at the 48th International Congress on Medieval
Studies Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo, Michigan). The

Abstracts are invited on any subject dealing with the writings of Sir
Philip Sidney and those writers, intellectuals, and historical figures
associated with the Sidney family. We especially encourage proposals
from younger scholars and proposals from new scholarly projects.
Papers should be limited to twenty minutes in reading time. Please do
not submit an abstract to two different sessions of the conference in
the same year.
Abstracts (500 words maximum) should be submitted electronically,
preferably as an email attachment (Word, Open Office or PDF) and should
indicate clearly your mailing address and phone number. If you need
special equipment for the talk (digital projector, etc.), let us know
when you submit your abstract, rather than later, please.
Deadline for abstracts: September 15, 2012.
