EVIDENCE-BASED PARENTING PROGRAMMES AND SOCIAL INCLUSION
On Thursday 20 September 2012
This day conference is hosted with the belief that all professionals in health, education and social care should have knowledge of a minimum of three evidence-based approaches and also of best practices for social inclusion. Both goals of achieving predictable improved child outcomes and engaging disadvantaged families are important. A panel showcasing 8 evidence-based parenting programmes is followed by each approach conducting 3 repeated one-hour workshops. Participants can learn about 3 unique and effective approaches. The conference offers the chance to learn about and discuss evidence-based practices with experts and also about their strategies for involving socially marginalised families. The perspectives of service user-parents will be included all day at every level.
If you have colleagues or associates who may be interested in this conference, please pass on this information.
