Hello MCG'ers
Bridget McKenzie and I are working for The Bill Douglas Centre for the History of Popular Culture and Cinema. It's a collection all about cinema history and the popular culture around film, based at the University of Exeter.
We're consulting widely so that a digital strategy will serve the needs of different users. To reach the wider world of 'enthusiasts', we decided to do the consultation online and we've created this independent blog to do it: http://bdcdigitalideas.wordpress.com
So, we're calling out to all picturegoers, cinema history buffs, fans of departed stars, film club volunteers, film bloggers and creatives who mash up old and new media. What would you like to do with this collection as more of it comes online?
Some of you might fit that description.
We'd be very grateful if you can:
- take our short survey
- post a comment on the blog to discuss with others
- post the blog link on your own networks or forward this email.
More is explained on http://bdcdigitalideas.wordpress.com
Thank you very much for your help.
Best wishes
Wendy Earle
