Dear all,
Sorry for the speculative nature of this, but I wondered if there would be interest in a 'game making for information literacy instruction' type event?
I'm considering running an event in Leeds (possibly 3rd or 10th of December), where we'd learn about play & games (some talking, some playing), then work in groups to actually create some prototype games for teaching information literacy skills.
Everyone would take away at least one prototype idea, plus a copy of my card game SEEK! (www.indiegogo.com/infolit-games), as well as lots of ideas about using games in information literacy instruction.
I'd guess the cost would be between £65 & £75 depending on room hire / catering and what materials I bring for games creation.
If there is a positive reaction, I'll arrange a room over the next few days and advertise the event...
Thank you,
Andrew
