italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Dear Jeremy,
Maybe you could contact singer-songwriter Francesco Guccini who is
also an authority on music (esp folk and protest music) history. If
and when I see him here in Bologna I'm mention your name.He is however
somewhat elusive (maybe even reclusive).
More likely to respond is Franco Minganti, who teaches American lit at
the U of Bologna, plays guitar, is an expert on jazz and familiar, I'm
sure, with other popular traditions.
You can say I suggested their names.
