Dear Int-Boundaries Members,
I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU NOT TO CLICK THE LINK SENT WITH THE EMAIL FROM "FRANCOIS BONNET". According to Google, the IRASEC website appears to have been compromised by a hacker. What is more, I find it highly suspicious that a researcher at this institution would send us an e-mail from a non-institutional e-mail address. [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> is a most unusual e-mail address for someone who works on international boundaries issues. There has been a huge increase in the incidence of cybercrime of late and I urge all members of this forum to be extremely cautious about clicking links from unverified sources, given the politically sensitive nature of international boundary work.
(In my professional opinion as an internet lawyer, this email appears to be a "spear-phishing" attempt. Read more at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phishing)
Regards,
Vivek

Hi all,
I just discovered your community... I am a French geographer and research associate of IRASEC (Research Institute on Contemporary South East Asia) based in Bangkok. My researches are focused on the territorial issues of the Philippines. The Philippines are a good "laboratory" as they have, as you know, all kind of territorial issues from maritime disputes (South China Sea) to separatism/autonomy claims by the muslims in Mindanao.
I have published in december 2011 a research on Mindanao that you can download for free (in french) http://www.irasec.com/component/irasec/?task=publication_detail&publicationid=327
Soon, I will publish a research on the Scarborough shoal (probably end of october)
