The Analysis Factor is happy to announce our next online workshop:
Logistic Regression for Binary, Ordinal, and Multinomial Outcomes
http://www.theanalysisinstitute.com/workshops/Logistic
Begins October 25
8 hours of live Instruction/ 4 hours live Q&A
Workshop Price $397
$160 student discount available
In this 4-week workshop, you will learn:
-- Why and when to use binary, multinomial, and ordinal logistic regression and in which ways it is the same as and different from linear regression
-- The model, the logit link function, probability and odds, model assumptions
-- Interpreting coefficients, odds ratios, confidence intervals, including odds ratios for dummy variables and interactions
-- Maximum Likelihood estimation
-- Evaluating the model using likelihood ratios, Information Criteria, Pseudo R-Squared, and Wald Statistics
-- Testing Assumptions and data fitting challenges
-- Using the model to predict group membership
-- Assessing Model Fit with Goodness of Fit tests and ROC Curves
-- Understanding the different model options and procedures to implement them when the outcome is more than two categories
-- Interpreting results from proportional odds models for ordinal categorical outcomes and multinomial models for unordered categorical outcomes
Everyone who attends the workshop will have a one year membership in our workshop website, which includes:
* recordings of all sessions
* supporting handouts
* exercises
* full transcripts
* places to ask questions between workshop sessions
* participation in sessions or updates offered in the next year
