Hi Craig - well done for all the hard work.
I mentioned a while ago that there would be a lot of interest among the
locals on Sark for a popular geology talk. Would there be any time for
this kind of thing? They are trying to set up a geological exhibit in a
museum they have set up and I am involved with it....it would be
absolutely great if we could give them something like this.

The meeting aims to bring together a number of disciplines to address the problem of how continental crust has been formed, reworked and recycled through time and the consequences of this on the wider Earth system. We aim for this meeting to foster inter-collaboration and lots of discussion, leading to some agreement of where major gaps in our knowledge may be and how we may address these. Theme leaders will bring together the various strands as the meeting progresses, leading to a final wrap up of the state of our current knowledge and some recommendations moving forward.

There is also a pre-conference workshop on in-situ analytical techniques, which will be attractive to early career researchers and a post-conference field trip to Sark, Guernsey and Brittany.
