Dear Colleagues,
The School of Geography at QMUL is hosting the 9th Annual David M Smith
Lecture on Thursday 15th November 2012.
The lectures celebrate David’s lifelong contribution to work on
questions of social justice and ethics, with each lecture seeking to
explore this broad field in different ways.
This year we are honoured to have Paul Cloke of the University Exeter
speaking to a lecture entitled: Postsecular Stirrings? Geographies of
hope in amongst neoliberalism (details attached). The lecture will be
followed by a wine reception.
The lecture is one of QM’s show piece events, and we would like to
welcome you all.
If you would like to attend, please could you RSVP to Amy Tan at
[log in to unmask] so that we can get an idea of numbers.
Hoping very much you might be able to join us
As always
Jon
