Breast Cancer Care is a UK based Charity that provides information and support services to people affected by breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Care is seeking to commission an experienced researcher/ consultant, with particular expertise in undertaking systematic literature reviews, for up to a 3 month period [either on a full time (35 hours pw) or part-time basis (23-28 hours pw)] who is available to start from September 2012.
(Approx daily rate £120- £150 dependent upon experience)
We are commissioning a narrative literature review of interventions that aim to improve the health and wellbeing of patients with breast and other cancers which target the period of transition from end of active hospital based treatment to survivorship/recovery, with a particular emphasis on those including socially diverse populations.
This review will help inform a larger research study being undertaken by Breast Cancer Care, which is seeking to develop and test an intervention that improves the health and well-being of breast cancer patients during the transition period following completion of active treatment.
