Max there's something terrifying here -like the start of a Stephen King
novel all too bright and cheery-I await the mnster creeping out of the
woodwork

White Cupboards
'Welcome to our new home!
Lots to be done still, but
we've slept here for the first time
and want to show you round.
Aren't the rooms big!
Is that why you frowned?
It's been our our dream -
the best suburb,
great street, just such a home.
Come to the kitchen -
we ripped out the fittings.
All's new. Behind these
white cupboards
everything's stowed.
Where to find what we need?
The boys' rooms upstairs -
white cupboards - no excuse
for schoolbook mess.
This library-study
of the judge we bought from -
a real fuddy-duddy -
we ripped out the dark
wall of bookshelves, now it's
cupboards - white - stark.
It's my office now, with my work
computer and this big screen
for sport - see what I mean?
You've brought me a book
as house-warming gift!
Thanks, into the cupboard with it!'
