BA Music and Sonic Media, at London South Bank University, is seeking to recruit hourly paid lecturers who are available during the academic year to provide HE level teaching in a range of contextual subjects that are relevant to the study of sonic media and electronic music, in modules such as:
- Intro to Sonic Media
- Music Image Text
- Sonic Research
- Professional Practice in Creative Sound
Teaching will involve organising and providing course materials, as agreed with the Course Director; use of a range of learning and teaching methods, including lectures, discussions and tutorials; and giving constructive feedback to students’ learning.
Candidates will be able to demonstrate the appropriate subject expertise and experience of teaching in higher education, preferably with a good post-graduate degree in a relevant subject.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education. The field includes film and TV production, journalism, radio, photography, creative writing, publishing, interactive media and the web; and it includes higher education for media practice as well as for media studies.
