Calling all cream experts,
I'm trying to setup CREAM EMI-2. But I'm hitting a cream/tomcat fault.
I've set things up with close adherence to
https://wiki.italiangrid.it/twiki/bin/view/CREAM/SystemAdministratorGuideForEMI2
The emi-cream-ce rpm is an "RPM of Convenience", i.e. it holds no files,
but has dependencies. One of those dependencies is
glite-ce-cream-es-1.14.0-4.sl5.noarch.rpm. When I see what is inside
that, I find some kind of "web archive" file, called
/usr/share/glite-ce-cream/services/glite-ce-cream-es.aar. I'm mystified
by the name (.aar, not .war!?!) but hey, they keep changing things on
tomcat. Maybe it's a(nother) new format?
Anyway, the point is that, after the installation there is no .war file
called /usr/share/tomcat5/webapps/ce-cream.war (as there use to be in
glite CREAM). In fact, there's just an empty ce-cream directory. So, the
installation of the CREAM tomcat web app has gone off the rails
somewhere. Yet all the messages show things went well.
Does anyone know what went wrong here? Is there a manual fix??
Cheers,
Steve
