Hi folks,
As of now, the entire Oxford SE is running the EMI 1 DPM 1.8.3 on SL5 (yes,
just in time to start updating to EMI 2/SL6). As I understand it this should be
an ideal platform for making it do Interesting Things.
So, what would we like it to do next - HTTP, xrootd or something else?
Also, it seems from Sam's blog post[1] that for xrootd the head node will need
access to a certificate that's a member of the ATLAS VO - it seems to me that if
the SE head node needs to be able to authenticate as a member of ATLAS then
the SE head node should be a member of ATLAS. Before I try to get the ATLAS
folks to let me sign its host cert up to the VO, does anyone have any idea
whether that would even slightly work?
Ewan
