Good morning all,
Please circulate this post to any suitable candidates.
Skills for the Future Intern
This exciting opportunity funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Skills for the Future programme and West Dunbartonshire Council allows the successful applicant to gain a professionally recognised heritage qualification whilst undertaking paid work. This is also an excellent opportunity to gain new skills in heritage venue operations, including working with school groups and the general public as well as working with historical artefacts. This is a post that will work in various venues across West Dunbartonshire and as well as experiencing a number of professional specialisms, a challenging yet rewarding post.
Please note this is an entry level qualification designed to help those with a SCQF Level 7 education or less, therefore people with a degree or equivalent will not be eligible for this post. This is also a positive action placement targeted specifically at people with disabilities.
