Dear BISA Critical Studies on Terrorism Working Group members,
My apologies for any cross-posting. My name is Lee Jarvis and I am currently involved in a multidisciplinary research project on cyberterrorism at Swansea University. Further information on the project is available at our website: http://www.cyberterrorism-project.org/
One strand of this project centres on the attached questionnaire which has been designed to explore academic understandings of, and attitudes toward, the concept of ‘cyberterrorism’. The questionnaire is being distributed globally to experts in terrorism, counter-terrorism, security, and cyber-security from a range of disciplines spanning the physical and social sciences. We would be extremely grateful indeed if you felt able to contribute to this project by completing it.
The questionnaire should take no more than 15 minutes to complete. It has been designed for use with Microsoft Word. If you do not have access to Microsoft Word, an online version can be completed instead, at:

We expect to begin collating and analysing responses during w/b 17 September and ask that you return the completed questionnaire before this date if at all possible. The return address is: [log in to unmask]
Finally, we are very keen to develop contacts and synergies with academics with research interests in cyberterrorism, with an eye toward potential future collaborations. There is a space at the end of the questionnaire to register any interest you may have in this, or please feel free to contact me directly to this end.
We understand, of course, that your time is both limited and in demand, and would like to thank you in advance for contributing to this research if you are able. If you have any questions or queries, or would like more information on the broader project, please do not hesitate to contact me at the above email address or at [log in to unmask]
With Kind Regards,
Lee Jarvis
