I have made a age class-based population model fitting two different source of information (one is population size estimates, the other the proportion of young in the population).
My problem is that depending on the flexibilty I give to the model (e.g.: allowing one mortality value (distribution) estimated by class, allowing error around population size value ... etc), it fits one or the other source of information.
Is there a way to constrain the model to fit both information at the same time ?
