Senior Medical Statistician
£35,938 – £44,166 per annum, depending on skills & experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance
The Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU) is a rapidly growing academic unit within the University of Nottingham.
The unit is seeking to recruit an experienced clinical trials statistician to work within our multidisciplinary team and provide strong statistical support for the programme of trials, and line management of junior staff.
Candidates should have an MSc in Medical Statistics, or equivalent and have practical experience of working in late phase clinical trials and of providing advice and support in medical statistics or health services research to NHS or academic researchers. The successful candidate should also have an understanding of the principles of clinical trial design, monitoring and analysis along with an appropriate track record of peer reviewed publications.
This full-time post is available on a permanent basis.
