Hello all,
We have recently had a series of OS Maps conserved and they are now stored in melinex sleeves. We have numerous requests for copies of these maps and the only option we have is to use a digitial camera. However the glare from the melinex means that the images are now very poor quality.
We have considered the use of a hand held scanner in the past but were advised by ICT that the quality would not be great. Does anyone use hand held scanners? do they work? and do they provide good quality images?
many thanks
