Daniela,
Is it the case that you are migrating from the gLite 3.1 WN to one of the UMD ones?
I had heard there is a problem with the EMI-1 WN.
The date in the advisory does not apply to the gLite 3.2 WN, which is still in security support, and there is a request to extend security support until the end of 2012 in order to allow sites to migrate to the UMD-2 version.
If people are planning on going from gLite 3.1 WN straight to UMD-2 it might be a problem. There may be a case for saying "allow sites to continue with gLite 3.1 rather than migrate to gLite 3.2 which is coming out of security support anyway until we are sure there is a fully working WN in UMD-2" (or the UMD-1 has been fixed.). I.e. argue that sites deploying gLite 3.1 WN are allowed to continue until there is a good one in the UMD. I don't know whether or not that will be accepted, I really think there is a good case to argue that sites should not be suspended for failing to migrate from 3.1 if there isn't a fully working version of WN in the UMD.
Linda.
