I don't think Google Docs is now Google Drive.
My understanding is that Google Drive is basically a file storage system
as Google wanted to discourage people from using other methods of
converting email account space into online storage space.
Google Docs are now stored in Google Drive but they aren't the same
thing.
At least that is my understanding - I could well be wrong...

Don't work in what sense?
Don't forget, they keep changing these things.
Google Docs is now Google Drive.
One of the more versatile seems to come from, of all people, Microsoft.
Called, this week at least, SkyDrive.
https://skydrive.live.com/
It can work with all the other Windows Live stuff.

Subject: [PSCI-COM] Microsoft Groove + other file-sharing platforms for
working together
Dear anyone have experience of using Microsoft Groove or other
file-sharing platforms for working together?
I have tried Googledoc and Dropbox and they don't quite work - I'm
wondering if other options might be better.
Thanks for any advice you can give
