Dear colleagues,
For those of you not lucky enough to live in the North East: There is still the chance to catch up with Helen Petts' great video travelogue on Schwitters' route into emigration which was premiered in Newcastle a month ago since it has now transferred to London and opens at the Royal Festival Hall tomorrow.
Enjoy!

Subject: Fwd: A gentle reminder - Throw Them Up and Let Them Sing
Dear friend and colleague
This is a gentle reminder that my show at the Royal Festival Hall opens tomorrow and runs until the 9th September. Throw Them Up and Let Them Sing is a film installation with surround sound of my journey following Kurt Schwitters route to the Lake District via Hjertoya Island in Norway. It will be played all day from 10am to 10pm in the White Room in the basement (its at the far end after the Museum of the World). The film also features Phil Minton, Roger Turner, Sylvia Hallett and Adam Bohman playing improvised sounds on voice, found objects and a bicycle wheel.

I will be there on Saturday afternoon 3-5pm with a few drinks. Do come. (Also for music fans Sylvia Hallett is performing on the Tuesday at the Purcell Room in Simon Allen's Resonance in the Still Point of Change<http://unlimited.southbankcentre.co.uk/events/resonance-at-the-still-point-of-change#content>.)
After the RFH the film goes to Abbot Hall Gallery in Kendal from the 15 September to 19 November and there will be a review in the Art Monthly October edition.
Best wishes
helen
