Quokkas are a protected species now. There are some around the Thomson Bay
settlement still, but the big numbers hide in the bush now, wary of human
behaviour.
A few photos of them today, so when dinner has been consumed and a little
jazz at the Quokka Arms listened to, I'll try to download them on to my
blog.
Max, the Express to Rotto (local nickname) is speedy and comfortable - so
much of a disappointment. I used to like the rock and rolling of the li'l
launches which went to and fro in days gone by. Oh, well, I do have digital
photography and the Net as a trade off!
