I was being snide about Gervais. Bitchy.
I'm on the edge of a "More Man!" mood. It's these reality pills I'm taking
I agree about Fry. I am not up with the process of his decay. I stopped
watching tv while he was still ok. Perhaps ok ish
I remember the fact of him reading Harry Potter on BBC. I didn't listen
because I find HP tiresome. And a gay friend of mine would repeatedly say
how good it was that he was as high profile as he was AND how funny; so I
took it on faith with increasing lashings of doubt
And then, for a while, he achieved ubiquity and I decided he was a bore
crashing
Then there was the tweeting; and that is a world as unknown to me as
bosons , events in the ultraviolet etc... As I stepped down to the train
platform today, I noted that all the train timetables are downloadable
there on to a mobile phone...
This is no country for late middle-aged men
