All - The RCN provides you with cover for Professional indemnity NOT Business liability so their insurance is fine if the organisation that you are working in covers you with their own business liability insurance - best to ask to make sure but if you are working as a contractor then they probably don't.
So basicially if you do something wrong professionally it's likely that you would be covered (unless you were working with someone who wasn't an RCN member - Dr, physio, OT etc) However if you tripped up on your way into the office, knocked the computer over and burnt the building down you wouldn't be covered - you need Business Liability Insurance for this which when I looked into it the RCN does not provide as part of their policy.
