Hi Gustavo,
I can verify that the NHM library has not only that particular Horizon programme in its archive, but also others such as 'Terracotta Cathedral of Life' (or some similar title). You should write to the NHM archives for suggestions to links or access to this and others. A number of us who work at the NHM have seen archival, digital copies, but you should go through the .
It will be interesting to hear about the results of your studies, and the changing perspectives in the NHM on exhibitions and public outreach are a worthwhile focus. This, combined with comparisons to other museums, will be a worthwhile piece of work.
In general, the NHM library and archives contact info can be found through here:

Good luck.

Subject: Looking for an old episode of Horizon
Dear All,
I am a PhD student at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. I work on
science and public and I am looking at the new exhibition schemes at the
Natural History Museum in London and the consequent changes in the more
traditional exhibits.
I've been looking for primary sources for my research and I found that in
1970 the BBC produced an episode of Horizon called 'Noah's Ark in
Kensington' that would be very helpful for my research. The problem is that
the episode is too old and it's not avalaible in the webpage of the BBC and
in the page of the program they say:
"Although we do read everything you send, we cannot reply to every
letter or email. Sorry, we cannot help you search through past Horizons
that are not in our online
archives<http://www.bbc.co.uk/science/horizon/archivecurrent.shtml>
."
So, I thought that maybe somebody in the list might clue me into where can
I begin to search for old episodes of the Horizon TV show.
?Thanks and I'm sorry if this is not the right place to ask about this sort
of thing but I don't know anywhere else where my questions get answered.
Gustavo Corral
