The Department of Media, Art and Design, CAnterbury Christ Church University is looking to recruit sessional staff to deliver teaching on its BA Media and Communications in modules on
- Public Relations - particularly areas such as uses of social media, campaign planning, project management, Media Relations, PR theory and PR ethics
- Digital Media Practice - particularly adobe creative suite
- Writing for Media - particularly online publishing
The Department has a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning and sessional staff are encouraged to participate in both a University-wide and a Departmental induction programme and, in pro-active and reactive ways, attend events connected with further professional development.

MeCCSA is the subject association for the field of media, communication and cultural studies in UK Higher Education. Membership is open to all who teach and research these subjects in HE institutions, via either institutional or individual membership. The field includes film and TV production, journalism, radio, photography, creative writing, publishing, interactive media and the web; and it includes higher education for media practice as well as for media studies.
