As we use NHS Evidence HDAS, I usually save the search as a pdf document
and email it to the requester. I don't brand the search at all.
I don't categorise or summarise results, principally because the people
I carry out searches for usually want everything relevant and would
prefer to make their own decisions/draw their own conclusions.
For those who don't know the HDAS format and would like to see what I
send, please contact me as I am unable to send an attachment to this
list. I always send a copy of my search strategy for information.

Dear List
Our Library is looking into the way we send out literature searches in
terms of output / how literature searches are presented to users.
Could anyone share tips about how they do this? we're interested in the
format searches are sent out in, do you use front covers? if so what do
they look like?, that sort of thing. If anyone could provide us with
some examples that would be great.
Thank you in advance
Kind Regards
James Wilson
