Intermediate PowerPoint: 9.30-12.30
This session is for people who already have experience of using PowerPoint to create presentations. The session is hands on and will extend your existing skills and teach you how to create more advanced presentations. You will get the opportunity to learn how to use hyperlinks, triggers, advanced animation, (including motion paths), action buttons, masters and how to write/draw on screen while presenting. You'll also get top tips on how to use some of the more basic functions more smoothly.
Facilitator: Emily Shields
Emily Shields is a Deputy Library Services Manager at Manchester Metropolitan University Library. Prezi: 1.30-4.30
The first part of this session will cover what Prezi is, how it works, and why it's worth using in the library environment. There'll be plenty of hands-on exercises to teach you the tips and tricks of the software. The second half will cover more advanced topics, including how to create interactive library maps with Prezi, and how to produce stunning presentations (that don't leave the audience feeling queasy)...
