We have 2 year fixed term full time opportunity available for a Library Support Assistant: Counter and Collection Management (Band 4 - £18,402 - £21,798) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, located in sunny and leafy Edgbaston. The Library Support Assistant (Counter and Collection Management) is a key member of the Library team. Reporting directly to the Library Manager, the post holder will be responsible for managing the day to day activities at the Library counter, including allocating tasks, and supervising library counter staff. The post holder also provides clerical assistance to the Librarian: Resources and Research in relation to collection development, cataloguing, and acquisitions. The post is funded for a fixed term of 24 months.
For the successful candidate, this role will provide an educational opportunity to undertake a postgraduate qualification in a relevant masters programme. The tuition fees will be funded by the Trust and you will be allocated specific time to undertake this study.
