Further to feedback ARLG London and the South East are pleased to offer the following event on repositories to be held at Goldsmiths, Tuesday 17th July, 3-5pm.
Repositories are important for universities and colleges in helping to manage and capture intellectual assets as a part of their information strategy.
We will have 2 speakers from Goldsmiths, University of London.
* James Bulley, GRO Administrator - GRO (Goldsmiths Research Online) is used as a model repository for eprints.
* Tahani Nadim, Researcher - Currently working on two projects:
KAPTUR, a JISC funded project “on the nature of research data in the arts”
Defiant Objects, a SHERPA-LEAP funded project managed by Goldsmiths, looking at descriptions for non-standard deposits in repositories.
There will be the opportunity to look at items from Goldsmiths Special Collections.
The event will start at 3pm with refreshments and last approximately 2 hours.
