JISC Collections releases Call for Digital Content: Archives and Collections for UK Higher and Further Education Institutions

This is an open call to owners of digital content in the form of archives and collections (referred to in this tender as Archives and Collections) that are of relevance to teaching, learning and research in UK Higher Education (HE) and Further Education (FE). Higher Education includes the Research Councils.
JISC Collections is seeking to license, in perpetuity, on behalf of the HE and FE community, several Archives and Collections under three strands:
* Strand 1: Archives and Collections in support of the funding bodies priorities, including but not limited to, medicine, science, engineering and agriculture.
* Strand 2: Archives and Collections containing 20th and 21st Century material, to support specialist institutions, for example, those teaching arts and humanities.
* Strand 3: Subject-specific collections of contemporary images, film and audio recordings that are of relevance to UK HE and FE staff and students and which will be delivered via JISC MediaHub (www.jiscmediahub.ac.uk<http://www.jiscmediahub.ac.uk>)
We welcome bids from both commercial content owners and non-commercial content owners, including institutions of further and higher education and research councils.
Please note that this call is for existing digital content, and does not relate to the digitisation of content.

Interested bidders should read through the tender document and its schedules carefully before completing the Submission Document. The Submission Document has been designed to capture the required information from bidders and the completion of this document is all that is required to submit a bid.
