And the official documentation at
http://storm.forge.cnaf.infn.it/home
Would be good places to start.
QMUL runs all of StoRM on one machine[1]. I'd advise you do the same -
at least for starters.
You need acls and xattrs enabled on Lustre.
I think we should probably enable them on the MDS, but currently we
enable on the clients on mount:
mount -t lustre -o flock -o user_xattr mds01@tcp0:/lustre_0 /mnt/lustre_0
QMUL is using StoRM 1.8.2
[root@se03 ~]# rpm -qa | grep -i storm
storm-xmlrpc-c-1.25.10-1206.2181.sl5
yaim-storm-4.1.8-1.sl5
storm-globus-gridftp-server-1.1.0-6.sl5
storm-xmlrpc-c-client-1.25.10-1206.2181.sl5
storm-frontend-server-1.7.3-1.sl5
storm-backend-server-1.8.2-2.sl5
storm-frontend-server-debuginfo-1.7.1-5.sl5.dbg
storm-dynamic-info-provider-1.7.4-1.sl5
Latest version is 1.9.
I can't work out how to get https support working (but other people seem
to have, and I'd like to).

[1] Well, strictly that's untrue, we have a second machine running
gridftp in order to make use of the college's second link, but RAL
wouldn't need to do that.
